Classroom activities are supplemented with leadership development programs and service opportunities, prestigious speakers, and a wide variety of extracurricular activities.
Woven within the curriculum are the concepts of a love of learning, integrity, honor, personal responsibility, aesthetic appreciation, and a sense of community service. Our goal is for 100% of our students to attend college and to become intentional leaders, productive citizens, and life-long learners. The upper school has twenty-two AP classes and twenty honors courses. In addition, we offer many unique elective classes including neuroanatomy, ornithology, marine biology, zoology, forensics, research, law, film studies, graphic arts, game design, broadcasting, ceramics, and applied leadership.
